Don't Miss the Mark: Vote for Katie Clark

I had the privilege of hearing my oldest niece Katie's campaign speech for Syracuse Junior High's student body office.

I'm amazed that this little girl was two, when we got  married, has turned into such a beautiful, articulate young lady.  Here are a few picts from the day.  And by the way, she won!

Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Adoption Update!

We have just completed our Home Study.  Hooray!  Pending approval we now move on to the Dossier information.  What is a Dossier, you ask?  An Adoption Dossier a compilation of official documents about our family and is required for every international adoption.  The list of documents is extensive but we are already working on it. 

As exhaustive as the work is, it is also very exciting. And I will have to learn a new kind of patience when waiting for the governments to review the documents.

Life continues to plug away,  Jake is still crazy and we love him and Jeff and I feel pretty darn lucky to have such a wonderful life.
